I'm a published first author!

My first first-author article was recently published. It's not an normal article, per se, in that it's a response to a comment on one of our previous papers rather than a standalone paper, but it still counts as a first-author publication (according to my advisor). This week we also submitted a real paper that I'm first author on, based on my thesis work (my thesis is here) plus some extra stuff I did.
